About the HOTROT 1206 Unit
The HotRot 1206 can be outdoors in temperatures down to minus-20 degrees Celsius. However, as feeding is generally a manual operation, it is typically recommended that the unit is placed under a roofed area for worker comfort and protection in inclement weather. The standard unit is supplied with a bin-lifter feed unit but can also be provided with an integrated dewatering unit for increased capacity.
The HotRot 1206 unit consists of a steel/stainless steel insulated hull. A stainless steel central tine-bearing shaft runs longitudinally through the vessel. This shaft is rotated periodically and provides mixing and aids aeration. Aeration is further enhanced by periodic air injection using a low-pressure system mounted external to the hull.

The baby of the HotRot range, this 1206 unit is ideal to process organic waste from canteens and commercial premises, with lower volumes.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
The standard unit is supplied with a bin-lifter feed unit. A feed hopper option can enable 24/7 unattended operation can be added. A dewatering unit can be added to reduce the liquid content of waste streams which have excessive moisture.
